The department of English, Kamaraj College in collaboration with Talent Quest for India Trust organised an Ullas program – to serve the school students on 30.08.2022. Fifteen students from the department of English voluntarily involved themselves in this programme. They divided themselves into two teams and handled classes for the school children of Tharuvaikulam and Kulathur Government Higher Secondary School. The session in Kulathur Government Higher secondary school began with “Diary of Dreams” for 9th STD children. Our students conducted an interactive session to motivate the school children. National Leaders and their service to the nation was the topic of the session. Token of appreciation was distributed to cheer up the children who actively interacted. In Tharuvaikulam Government Higher secondary school our students were given opportunity to meet the 11th and 12th standard students. There our students gave them counseling and shared the prospects of higher studies. The children of the government school gave positive feedbacks. The staff of the government school appreciated the efforts and commitment of our students.
