Day 2: Mime, Fashion Walk & Group Dance Competitions – International Women’s Day

Around 9.30 am, a total of thirty six participants from six departments took part in this event which was held at Kamarajar Kalvi Arangam. Participants made the invisible visible through their actions. They diligently acted out the social issues in this event. The department of Commerce (sf) bagged the first prize followed by department of Commerce (aided) in the second place and Department of Botany in the third place
Fashion Walk
This competition took place on March 5th, 2025, at Kamarajar Kalvi Arangam. The event showcased remarkable talent and artistic expression from students across various departments, with 49 participants representing 8 departments. M. Murugeswari, M. Siva sakthi, B. Jeya shree, S. Pavithra Daisy Rani, J. Chandra Runa, S. Vanitha, B. Jaseetha from B.Com(Aided) won the First prize. A. Aani Esthoniya, M. Athi Lakshmi, L. Merlin, M. Muthu Lehasree, B. Thenmozhi Thejasri, S. Solotchana@Mahaa from Commerce (SF) won the Second prize. P. J. Varshini, K. Dheekshitha, R. Joseph pearlina rose, J. Sunitha jereshiya esther, S. Shinysha sherine, M. Sujitha, J. Jenitha Microbiology (SF) won the Third prize.
Group Dance
This event began around 2.15 pm at the Auditorium on 5.03.2025. A total of seventy eight participants from thirteen departments partook in Group dance. Participants set the stage ablaze with their dance moves and dazzling costumes. The first prize was bagged by the Department of Microbiology(SF) followed by Commerce Department (SF) in the second place and the Department of English (SF) in the third.
The entire day’s events turned out to be successful, inculcating further anticipation and healthy rivalry for the forthcoming Valedictory.
