Day 2: International Conference on Ultrasonics and Materials Science for Advanced Technology (ICUMSAT 2024) – Dept. of Physics

On the second day (November 14) of the “International Conference on Ultrasonics and Materials Science for Advanced Technology (ICUMSAT 2024)”, seven speakers from different states and two delegates from other countries gave their exceptional talk in hybrid mode. Oral presentations were made by twenty-four researchers. Today’s session was part of an exhibition with academic and laboratory components. The campus temple hosted a traditional puja to kick off an outstanding cultural event. Students performed kalaripayattu and silambam with skill. The auditorium was filled with enthusiasm and devotion as the concert continued with a passionate Ganesh song and a vibrant student dance performance. Prof. Raja Ram Yadav captivated the audience with his classical thumri recital, blending grace and emotion in this traditional Indian art form. Furthermore, Amit Vishwakarma’s stirring solo tabla performance highlighted the depth of Indian classical music by adding a complex rhythm to the event. Today’s event concludes with this ceremony.
