Day 2: Interdepartmental Chess Tournament – Founder’s Day Celebrations

As a part of the celebrations of Founder’s Day, Interdepartmental Chess Tournament was conducted on 19.03.24. The event was inaugurated by the convenor Dr. J. Muralitharan and Dr. Banumathi along with other co-ordinators. 19 teams from 19 departments actively participated in the event. It was conducted as a 5 round Swiss system. Economics department (Aided) emerged as winner and Mathematics department ( Aided) emerged as Runner and the third place was won by Commerce department (Aided).
