Day 2: Institutional Visit: Children Paradise Trust Light House, Thoothukudi – Criminology Dept.

I B.A Criminology and Police Administration students visited the Children Paradise Trust Light House – Integrated rehabilitation centre for addicts, Thoothukudi on 22.02.25 (2nd Day). Mr.C. Ulaganathan Assistant Professor of Criminology gave welcome address. Ms. Suramya Suresh, Assistant Professor of Criminology honoured Mr. Raja, Peer Educator of De-addiction centre, Ms. M.Thangapriya and Ms.R.Anusiya, Counsellor of de-addiction centre with Plant saplings. A Member from Alcoholics Anonymous meeting shared his rehabilitation process and methods to avoid the alcohol addiction. Ms. M. ThangaPriya shared the history of De-addiction centre and their role in society. Ms. R. Anusiya gave an awareness about effects of alcohol and other substances with following diseases.
