Day 1: National Level Capacity Building Program for Faculty and Research Scholars

A three day National Level Capacity Building Program for Faculty and Research Scholars (13-15.06.2024) took place in Kamaraj College Thoothukudi, sponsered by the Thoothukudi Educational Society. This workshop was convened by Dr. Arunachala Rajan, the Vice Principal and Co-ordinated by Dr. G. Thilagavathi. Today,13.06.2024, the first session titled “The Quality of Professors in the 21st Century World: Reimaging and Reshaping Teaching Profession” was handled by Dr. Shreeramalu Goshikonda, Assistant Professor of Sociology, School of Law, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Hyderabad Campus , Telengana, India.The speaker was introduced by Dr. Karupusammy and honoured by the convener. the speaker emphasized the importance of the teaching profession and discussed Bloom’s Taxonomy and its significance. This session came to an end with an vote of thanks. The second session was handled by Dr. S. Lenin, Assistant Professor, Department of Education, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Thirunelveli. The speaker was welcomed by Dr. Gopalakrishnan and honoured by the Vice Principal. The second session was titled “New Pedagogies in the recent Scenarios”. This session was interactive and the speaker highlighted various Pedagogies and teaching methods. This session came to an end with an vote of thanks.
