Cybercrime: Facts to Fathom for Student Community

The P.G and the Research Department of History organized a guest lecture on the Topic ” Cybercrime: facts to fathom for Student Community”. The guest speakers were Mr. M. Sivasankaran, lnspector of Cybercrimes police station, and Mr. Achuthan, Technical Sub-inspector. They created awareness among the students about cybercrimes. They especially stressed current crimes like photo morphic, asking for the PIN through phone calls, and sending some links. The students as well as the other participants got alerted with such information. More than 150 students participated and got acknowledged by this program.
