Cyber Security Training Programme Overview

The Cyber Security Training programme was conducted by the Department of Computer Science (SF), Kamaraj College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi, in collaboration with ICT Academy and IBM SkillsBuild from 19th to 23rd January 2026 at the C. V. Raman Computer Science Block. The initiative aimed to equip students with advanced digital security skills, practical knowledge, and globally recognized certification.

Launch of the Cyber Security Training Programme

The Cyber Security Training programme was inaugurated on 19th January 2026, in the presence of Vice Principal Dr. A. Arunachala Rajan, Head of the Department Dr. G. Sophana, and ICT Academy team members.

The Vice Principal highlighted the urgent need for cybersecurity professionals in the digital economy. Mr. N. Vishal, ICT Relationship Manager, provided an overview of the Cyber Security Training course, learning outcomes, and certification process. The ICT team formally launched the programme with a ceremonial foam board handover.
