Contemporary Issues with Multidisciplinary Perspective on Social Science – Economics Dept.

The Department of Economics organized a National Seminar on Contemporary Issues with Multidisciplinary Perspective on Social Science on October 19 2022 in the Smart Hall. The session started at 10 am with the Thamizh Thaai Vaazhthu. The welcome address was delivered by Dr. S. RAMAN, Assistant Professor and Head of Economics(SF). The Resource persons were honoured by our college Principal i/c, Dr. J. Poongodi and Vice Principal Dr. A. Arunachala Rajan. An introductory speech about the guest speakers was delivered by Dr. A. Asok, Associate Professor of Economics. The chief guests are DR. G. PRABU, Assistant Professor of Sociology, Bangalore and Dr. C. Muniyandi, Assistant Professor of Econometrics, School of Economics, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai. This seminar was very useful for the Students, Scholars and Faculty Members. Around 260 participants participate from various colleges and universities and 30 paper presenters got benefited from this seminar. A vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. K. Sumathi, Assistant Professor of Economics (Sf)and the programme came to an end with the National Anthem. The entire Programme was organized by the students of the Department of Economics.
