Celebrating Wordsworth

Department of English (SF), Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi, organized an International Webinar on “Celebrating Wordsworth” on 1st August, 2020. The webinar had two sessions. First session’s Resource Person is Prof.Daniel David, Head of the Department of English (SFS), Madras Christian College, Chennai. He elaborated on the topic “Wordsworthian Themes : Freedom and Nature”. The second session’s Resource Person is Prof.Mark Sandy, Department of English Studies, Durham University, Elvert Riverside, United Kingdom. It was an Interview session. Online Poetry Contest was conducted and more than 1000 participants sent their poetry. Top five poems were selected and were declared as winners of poetry. There were 9576 participants both in zoom and You Tube from all over the world. E-certificates were provided to all the participants.
