Career Opportunities in Botany – Dept. of Botany

The Botany Department Association conducted a meeting on 28.01.2025 to discuss “Career Opportunities in Botany.” The event aimed to enlighten students about various career prospects available in the field of botany including research, industry and entrepreneurship. Faculty members and students were participated in this session.The keynote address was delivered by the resourse person Dr. M. Viji, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany, Thiyagarajar College, Madurai,who elaborated the numerous career opportunities in botany field. Our UG and PG students actively participated by asking questions regarding job prospects, required skills and higher education opportunities. She also provided detailed responses and motivated students to explore diverse career options in botany.
