Azolla cultivation Training Programme August 1, 2024 – UBA & Department of Farm science. Azolla is used in agriculture for a wide range of purposes, including biofertilizer, human food, cow and poultry feed, weed and Mosquito control. On the behalf of Thoothukudi Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (AISHE Code: 41209) an workshop on Azolla cultivation Training Programme (01-08-2024) was conducted. Department of Farm science students Participated in the programme and benefited. Mr.Siva subra maniyam & Dr.J Nagarajan trained the students on the basic intensive methods of Azolla cultivation. students said that the azolla cultivation Training was so intriguing on organic farming and self employment.
