The Awareness Seminar on My Garbage; My Responsibility has been organized by the NSS Unit No.:218 in jointly with The Thoothukudi Municipal Corporation on 24.09.2022 at GJ Block, Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi. The event formally begun with tamil thai valthu, followed by welcome address given by Dr. R. Karuppasamy, Program Officer, NSS Unit No.218. Our College Principal i/c Dr.J.Poongodi has delivered the presidential address and encouraged the NSS volunteers. Dr.A.Arunachal Rajan, Vice Principal has given felicitation address. Mr.V.Ariganesan and Mr.C.Raja Sekaran, Sanitary Officers, Thoothukudi Municiapal Corporation have engaged as resource persons, and delivered the lecture on handling bio degradable and plastic waste in our home and college. Mr. D. Christopher has participated as special guest and motivated the students towards green and healthy environment. Ms. Poovarasi, NSS Volunteer (III BBA SL) proposed vote of thanks.
