Awareness Program Violence Against Women

On the behalf of Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi NSS  Unit No:  181, in the anticipation of “International day for the elimination of violence against women” an awareness program was, conducted for the students on November 25 th, 2021.  Dr. K. Bhanumathi, Head Department of Zoology and former NSS Programme officer took part in the program and gave a special speech. She counseled the students on the violence against women and insisted on some of the safety features that could protect women from those acts of violence. 60 volunteers took part in the program and became aware of the acts of violence.
