Awareness Program on Women Empowerment – Dept. of English, NSS Unit 218 & YRC

On September 6, 2024, the PG and Research Department of English (SF) along with the NSS Unit 216 & Youth Red Cross organised an awareness program on Women Empowerment: Her power, Her voice: Shattering Ceilings at Bharathiyar Block. The resource person Dr.Mary Josephine Jerina MBA., MA(Ling)., MA(Eng)., M.Phil.,Ph.D., deliberated on Rural Women empowerment by highlighting the change brought about in many countries. After the lecture audience were given, time to interact. Audience felt that the session was informative and interactive.
