Awareness Program on UPSC Examination – English Dept.

The PG and Research Department of English (SF) along with NSS unit no.: 216 and YRC organized an UPSC service exam Awareness Programme on 27.09.2023 at 11 am in the GJ Block Seminar Hall. The resource person was Mr. J. Anbu Edison, M.Sc, MA , Correspondent of Edison Public School, Edison Academy Thoothukudi. A.T Theepak Suviston of II M.A. English hosted the event. The welcome address was delivered by V.R.Reshma of I M.A. English. The resource person elaborated on the procedure of the service exams, the question pattern, the type of questions that will be posed and how to face the interview. He also spoke about the need of youth’s involvement and participation to give awareness to the people and to eradicate the false beliefs and notions about UPSC examination. The entire session was highly interactive. Our students were benefitted by the informative facts he rendered. Finally, the session came to an end with the vote of thanks delivered by N.Praisy of I M.A. English.
