Awareness Program on Teaching Practice – English Dept.

The PG & Research Department of English (SF) successfully conducted an Awareness Program on Teaching Practice on June 24, 2024. Ms. S. Seyed Ali Fathima, the Trainer and Mr. A.T. Theepak Suviston, the Zonal Head were the guests of honour.
The event commenced with a traditional Tamil invocation, followed by a welcome address delivered by Ms. S. Muthu Mathi of III BA English. Mr. Theepak Suviston provided an informative presentation on TQI projects. Mr. A. Micheal Rohith of III BA English shared his valuable experience in his volunteering journey.
The training sessions were led by Ms. Fathima. She explained in detail about the content of the summit classes which are to be handled for the school students.
The afternoon session resumed with a final summit class. Later the volunteers were trained for preparing Lesson plans, report writing, documentation of files and finance claiming. Students actively participated and expressed a strong sense of engagement throughout the training program.
The program concluded with a group photo, capturing the spirit of collaboration and the success of the TQI orientation program.
