Awareness Program on First Aid and Emergency Care – NSS Unit: 218

One Day Awareness Program on “First Aid and Emergency Care” has been organized by NSS Unit No.218, Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi on 21.02.2023. The awareness program primarily initiated in association with The Indian Red Cross Society, Thoothukudi District Branch. Our principal Dr.J. Poongodi delivered the presidential address and honoured the guest. The Vice Principal Dr. A. Arunachala Rajan has given the felicitation address, followed by the welcome address has been given by Dr.R.Karuppasamy, Program Officer. Dr.A.Veliappan, Coordinator, NSS, Manomaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli has inaugurated the event and motivated the young volunteers. Dr.S.Vaseekaran, Chairman, Indian Red Cross Society, Thoothukudi District Branch has given such a wonderful awareness lecture on First Aid and Emergency Care. Totally 80 NSS volunteers from NSS Unit No.218 has eagerly participated. In Valedictory session, Mr.M.Muthuraj, Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Thoothukudi District Branch has delivered the Valedictory address and distributed the certificate to all participants.
