Association Meeting – Dept. of History

The PG and Research Department of History and History Association organised a guest lecture on 20-8-2024 in the Auditorium. A Guest Lecture was given by Dr.D.Namasivayam, Assistant professor, Performing Arts, St. Xavier’s College, Tirunelveli . He introduced the different types of opportunities for History Students and also introduced the skills and knowledge needed to enhance their Efficiency in Archaeological survey .They were elucidated in detail to develop the intellectual ability of the students. Almost 155 students participated and got benefited through this program. The Session was very interesting and interactive. Ms.Muthuselvi from l B.A History gave the welcome address and M. Immanuel from lll B.A History gave the vote of Thanks. M. Chitrai Kani from lll B. A History, introduced the resource person to the audience. The student organisers made all arrangements under the guidance of Dr.A.Devaraj, HOD and the Assistant professor of History. All the history department staff members took part in this Association Meeting.
