PG & UG Association and Alumni Meeting was organised by The Research department of Economics, Kamaraj college, Tuticorin in Kamarajar Kalvi Arangam on 30th March 2023 about “Environment and Economic Development”. The activities of the program were carried out by the organizing secretary, Dr.T.Vasanthi. The program began with the welcome speech for the chief guests, Prof. Dr. Thangaraja (Rtd) and Prof Dr. Moses Gnanakkan. The chief guests were honoured by the head of the department, Dr.R.Prabhavathy. Nearly 200 students were a part of the program. They were taught preventive measures to protect the environment . Books were given for students by the Alumni association for quality education. Refreshments were also provided for the participants. The immense enthusiasm and active participation among students in learning was the main driving factor. The program ended on a positive note. There was an atmosphere of learning and growing together.
