Alumni Interactive Session – Dept. of Physics

The Department of Physics organized an engaging Alumni Interactive Session for the students on 11.07.2024. Our distinguished alumnus, P.L.N. Rajulu, currently serving as an Assistant Commandant in the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) in New Delhi, visited the college and shared his valuable insights. His conversation with the students was both inspiring and informative. He discussed the various opportunities available after completing a B.Sc in Physics, emphasizing the advantages of pursuing postgraduate studies and exploring career prospects in the Ministry of Defence. He provided detailed guidance on how to prepare for competitive exams such as UPSC, TNPSC, SSC, and SSB, as well as strategies for successfully navigating interviews and securing employment. His reflections on college life, his preparation journey and his eventual success in landing a prestigious job were particularly riveting. The students were deeply motivated by his experiences and the practical advice he offered. The session proved to be immensely beneficial for the attendees, leaving them with a renewed sense of purpose and direction in their career aspirations.
