Alumni Interactive Session – Botany Dept.

The Department of Botany organized an Alumni Interactive Session on 09.03.2024 at Botany Lab, Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi. The program started with Tamilthai Vazhthu. Our Alumni Mr. R. Sangaramoorthi, BT Assistant Science, Government High School, Kaadalkudi, Thoothukudi was the Chief Guest of this program. He talked about preparing and attending the competitive exams during the degree course and also shared his experience of what students do and don’t do in their course duration, developing extra skills, and fixing and attaining the goal through their consistent practice. Finally, he asked the students to clear the arrears before leaving the course which will help for further studies and job placements. The session was very interactive by clarifying their doubts. The students gave feedback at the end of the session. Around 65 students participated and got motivated. Dr. M. Muthu Sheeba, Assistant Professor of Botany honored the chief guest. Assistant Professors Dr. P. Pounraj and Dr. Sundari were present in this program. Dr. T. Kumareswari, the Department Alumni Co-ordinator, and the student organizing members organized the program. K. Karthik Raja (III yr) delivered the welcome address. The vote of thanks was delivered by A. Munia Sakthi (I yr). The entire program was anchored by A. Gnana Rajeswari (II yr). The program ended with the National Anthem.
