Alumni Interaction on Building a Successful Career – Economics Dept.

The Department of Economics organized Alumni Interaction on “Building a Successful Career” to the UG/PG students held on 14.08.2023. The anchor of the event were Ms. Nishi, M.A. Economics. The programme started with a prayer song followed by welcome address given by Ms. Muthushalini, M.A. Economics.The convinor of the alumni interaction Dr.R.Prabhavathy, Associate Professor and Head delivered the presidential address and honor to the chief guest. The speaker of the programme was Dr.C.Thangaraja Former Associate Professor and Head, Department of Economics Kamaraj College Thoothukudi, his enlightening views was an eye opener in terms of intellectual calibre. The deligates have learnt from his talk. The entire faculty of the Economics Department along wth 155 students were present in the programme. Few of the questios from the audience were taken up by the speaker during the Q & A session. The veriety and range of questions raised show that the participants took an active part in the programme. The programme was successfully organized by Dr.A.Govindharaju, Assistant Professor, PG and Research Department of Economics, Kamaraj College. Finally the students coordinator of Miss.Vimaleth, M.A Economics proposed vote of thanks to all the contributes who are the responsible for complition of this alumni interaction. The programme end at 12.30 with the Nation Anthem.
