The training session offered an in-depth look at how autonomy can be effectively implemented and sustained through strategic planning, academic reforms, and policy-driven operations.
Key focus areas of the visit included:

Institutional governance models
Use of platforms like IRINS for academic profiling
Learning from ANJAC’s Best Practices
Through a series of interactive departmental sessions and targeted discussions with ANJAC’s administrative experts, the delegation from Kamaraj College gathered valuable insights into the workings of a successful autonomous institution. Of particular interest was ANJAC’s robust implementation of the IRINS (Indian Research Information Network System), which effectively profiles faculty research and supports accreditation efforts.

This outcome-oriented model enables continuous quality improvement and ensures measurable student learning outcomes.
The delegation also explored ANJAC’s question paper setting procedures, including the formulation of internal and external assessments in alignment with Bloom’s Taxonomy. The discussions highlighted how academic rigor, transparency, and technology are integrated into the examination system to ensure fairness and efficiency.
Administrative Systems and Financial Strategies
On the administrative front, ANJAC demonstrated the importance of a well-defined structure of committees and policy documents that guide every institutional activity—from curriculum revisions to budget approvals. The team from Kamaraj College appreciated the transparency and systematic workflow observed across departments.
A major component of the learning experience revolved around financial strategies for autonomous institutions. ANJAC’s model of resource mobilization, funding allocations, and budget prioritization for autonomy-related activities served as a replicable framework for sustainable institutional growth.
