A One Day Workshop on “Hands on Workshop in Open Source Management Tools” was conducted by the Dept. of Microbiology (SF), on 16 February, 2019 at 9.30 a.m. at the Seminar Hall (Golden Jubilee Block). Dr. M. Kannan, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Zoology, V.H.N.S.N College, Virudhunagar was the Resource Person. PG students attended the workshop and found it useful.
A Guest Lecture on “Basic Virology, Viral Cultivation and Vaccine Production” was organized by the Dept. of Microbiology (SF) on 8 February, 2019 at 8.30 a.m. The Speaker was Dr. N. Jeyakumar, Assistant Professor, Kamarajar College of Arts and Science, Suraindai. He delivered a lecturer on the basic techniques involved in virology, viral cultivation, and vaccine production. Then the session was kept open for discussion
