A Health Awareness Programme and Health Check up Camp

PG & Research Department of Microbiology and Youth Red Cross had jointly organized “A Health Awareness Programme and Health Check-up Camp” on 07.05.2022. Dr J. Kingson John David MBBS., M.Med., AFIH, King of Kings Mighty Care Clinic, Thoothukudi served as a resource person and gave a talk about Health awareness and counselled the students regarding various health issues. The Health check-up camp was inaugurated by the Director of SF courses Dr A. Arunachala Rajan and Dr J. Kingson John David. Blood pressure, Sugar level, Haemoglobin and Blood Grouping were tested to teaching and non-teaching staff free of cost. The YRC volunteers actively participated to conduct this camp. Totally 160 students participated in the Health awareness session and around 50 Staff and students were actively taken tests in Health check-up camp. Our College Management provided all the necessary facilities to conduct the Programme.
