The NSS Unit 218, Kamaraj College celebrated the 93 birthday of Former President of India Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam by showing the 93 seeds of various trees at Campus of Kamaraj College on 15.10.2014. The seeds were collected from the rameshwaram, birth place of him by the Arulagam Foundation, Coimbatore. The programme inaugurated with showing first seed by our Vice Principal Dr. A. Arunachalarajan. Followed by Mr.Vignesh , Founder, Jokers Wanted NGO, Thoothukudi directed the event successfully. The 93 NSS Volunteers showed the 93 seeds at a time in the campus. The event was coordinated by Dr. R .Karuppasamy, NSS Programme Officer with Jokers Wanted NGO.
