3 Day National Virtual Workshop

3 Day National Virtual Workshop on Research Methodology and Data Analysis using MS Excel was organized by the Department of Business Administration, Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi.

Today research and data analysis are playing a vital role to build the contemporary model and producing modern theory. Even though the research study is more significant, the software for data analysis is always challenging. Here we organized the three days national workshops to impart knowledge on data analysis by using Microsoft Excel. And the workshop is aimed to support completing academic projects and making research articles without spending costs on data analysis software. Totally 790 participants have registered from various places in India. And, our final year students (61) benefited directly from this workshop. It was successfully presided by Dr. D. Nagarajan, Principal, Dr. A. Arunachala Rajan, Director and Dr. R. Karuppasamy, Head of the Department. Dr. B. Muthu Pandian, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, Sikkim University, Gangtok, Sikkim., has walked through the entire session of day 1 (17.03.2022) on Introduction to MS- Excel. He has given unambiguous enlightenment on how to use MS-Excel with all its basic operations.  Dr. R. Sasikumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Statistics, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli delivered the talk on Fundamentals of Research & Statistics in the first session of day 2 (18.03.2022). In addition, Dr. C. Aarthy, Assistant Professor, Department of Management Studies, Christ University, Bangalore, Karnataka, has made the second session of day 2 a productive occurrence through her practical discourse on Descriptive Analysis. Dr. B. Muthu Pandian has again engaged him as a resource person on the last day (19.03.2022) for giving excellent coverage to the topic of Trend analysis & Hypothesis Testing.
