Alumni Interaction Program Computer Science

The Research Department of Computer Science, Kamaraj College (Autonomous), successfully organized an Alumni Interaction Program on 23 December 2025 from 11.00 AM to 12.00 PM at the AMMS Ganesan Nadar Block. The programme was designed to provide students with meaningful exposure to industry expectations by connecting them with accomplished alumni who have established themselves in the professional software domain.

The Alumni Interaction Program Computer Science served as a vital platform to bridge the gap between academic learning and real world industry requirements, enabling students to gain practical insights into career planning, skill development, and professional growth.

Objectives of the Alumni Interaction Program

The primary objective of the programme was to motivate students by exposing them to real life professional experiences shared by a successful alumnus. The event aimed to achieve the following goals:

• To motivate students toward career oriented skill development
• To strengthen alumni and institutional relationships

Inaugural Session and Welcome Address

The programme commenced with a prayer seeking the blessings of the Almighty for the successful conduct of the event. Following the prayer, M. Patchiammal delivered the welcome address and extended a warm greeting to the dignitaries, faculty members, and students.

In her address, she expressed pride in the department’s alumni achievements and warmly welcomed the Chief Guest back to his alma mater. She emphasized the importance of alumni interaction in shaping students’ academic and professional journeys.

Raja is a proud alumnus of the 2009 batch who has steadily progressed in his career to become a Lead Software Engineer at Acentra Health, Chennai.
