The NSS Unit 218, Kamaraj College initiated Two Day Traffic Management Service under the theme of Mybharat Diwali in association with Thoothukudi City Traffic Police in the various places of Thoothukudi Town on 29.10.2024 & 30.10.2024.Dr.Manley, Medical Officer inaugurated the event by her instructions towards distribution of work. Dr. Mathan, ASP, Thoothukudi City permitted and motivated the volunteers to work with Thoothukudi traffic police. And Mr. Mayilerum Perumal, Inspector, Traffic Police Station (South), Thoothukudi prepared the work chart and directed the volunteers according to it in the various traffic areas during Diwali festival. Totally 20 Volunteers actively participated, and done their extraordinary work towards society in two shifts such as morning 10.00 AM to 2.00 PM and Afternoon 2.00 PM to 7.00 PM. It was successfully coordinated by Dr.R.Karuppasamy, NSS Programme Officer, Unit 218.
