Guest Lecture on Method of Teaching English: A Study – Dept. of English

The PG & Research Department of English (SF), Kamaraj College organised a guest lecture on the title “Method of Teaching English: A Study” on 28.08.2024 at 9:30am in the GJ Block, Seminar Hall. Mrs. P. Muthumari, Full time scholar, Research Department of English, Kamaraj College was the resource person. Our student I. Pradeepa of II M.A. English hosted the program, M.Devika of a III B.A. English welcomed the gathering, and R. Santhiya of II B.A. English felicitated the resource person. The lecture began with an ice breaking session where the resource person introduced the traditional methods of teaching English. She elaborated on methods of teaching English. She threw light on oral situational approach, grammar translation method, Direct method, Suggestopedia etc effectively. She communicated efficiently to the participants with her potent knowledge. The students of the English Department listened and responded to the resource person energetically. Mr.T.Santhosh of I B.A. English delivered the vote of thanks.
