Guest Lecture: Crafting the Future of Your Career – Dept. of Economics

The Department of Economics (SF) at Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi, organized a guest lecture titled “Crafting the Future of Your Career” as part of a value education program on 28 September 2024. The event took place at 8:30 AM in the GJ Block Seminar Hall and was attended by students of the department.The welcome address was delivered by Mr. E. Vishwa, a IIIrd year B.A Economics (SF) student. The resource person for the event, Ms. Machado Sneha John, DCA., BBA., M.Com., NET, Assistant Professor of Commerce (SF), Kamaraj College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi, was introduced and honored by Dr. C. Mathumitha, Assistant Professor of Economics (SF), Kamaraj College. Ms. Machado Sneha John provided practical insights on the topic “Crafting the Future of Your Career.” She highlighted key strategies for students to plan and pursue their career goals, focusing on personal development, goal-setting, and staying adaptable to changes in the job market. The session was interactive, with students asking questions and receiving valuable career advice.The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. K. Muthaiya Muralidharan, a II B.A Economics (SF) student.
