Day 6: Deeksharambh – Students Induction Programme – First Year Aided Students

The day began with a “Drug-Free Tamil Nadu” awareness program led by Mr. Albert John, Superintendent of Police, Thoothukudi District. During the session, students took a pledge against drug abuse and participated in a rally to promote awareness.

Following this, the Placement Cell introduced Ms. N. Subhiksha and Ms. R. Suganya, trainers from Face Prep, who guided students on how to use the LinkedIn app for professional networking and career development.

The final session was conducted by Dr. T. Jackuline Brindha, who spoke about the significance and roles of the Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC), Internal Complaints Committee (ICC), and the Anti-Ragging Cell (ARC). She explained how these institutional support systems benefit and protect students.

These sessions provided students with valuable insights into social responsibility, career readiness, and institutional support mechanisms.
