Day1: AD Mad – Intercollegiate Competition – Pongaloviyam 2023

The Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi organizes three days Cultural cum Sports intercollegiate competition from 23.01.2023. The third event for the day 23.01.2023 was AD Mad, conducted at 2:00 pm in the smart Hall with eleven team and sixty six participants from eleven colleges namely, St. Xavier’s College, Tirunelveli; M.D.T Hindu college, Tirunelveli; Rajalakshmi arts & science college, Thoothukudi; St. John’s college, Palayamkottai; Kamaraj Women’s college, Thoothukudi; Francis Xavier engineering college, Tirunelveli; V.O.C College, Thoothukudi; Arulmigu Subramaniya Swamy Arts and Science College, Vagaikulam; St. Mary’s college, Thoothukudi; APA College, Nanguneri; and St. Mother’s Theresa Engineering college, Thoothukudi. The participants were asked to select their topic on lot basis and were given an hour time to prepare for the performance. All the performances were humour provoking. From all the eleven AD Mad performances, a team of six members namely, K. Esakki Raja, M. Ranjith Kumar, M. Sasi Kumar, T. Vinayagam, S. Chellam and B. Perumathi from MDT Hindu College, Tirunelveli secured first prize; S. Snofar, K. Kaviya, Kashifa Sankar, S. Sebira, A. Rixcy and V. Shalom Dilani Vidhiya from St. Mary’s College, Thoothukudi secured second prize; and M.A. Naveen Karthic, M. Shighivelan, R. Arokia Joewin, K. Sakthi Ganesh, V. Sundaresan and G. Santhana Sudalai Mani from V.O.C. College secured third prize.
