Climatic Changes and Threats on Coral Reefs

Department of Zoology, organized special lecture on “Climatic changes and Threats on coral reefs” on 30.8.2022. Dr. Thinesh Thangadurai from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore was the Chief guest. He delivered a wonderful and energetic talk on corals and its importance. He highlighted the threats and conservation of coral reefs, created awareness among the students. Besides we celebrated International Whale shark day, to commemorate this conducted drawing competition and prices were distributed to the deserving students. All the arrangements were done by the department student volunteers.
