Career Enhancement Program – English Dept.

The PG and Research Department of English (SF), Kamaraj College organised a Career Enhancement Program on 22nd March, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. in the G.J. Block Seminar Hall. Mrs. M. Subbulakshmi, International Institute of Teacher Training, Kolkata and Mrs. M. Keerthika, Entrepreneur, Keeraibox and Shrinidhi Learning House, Tirunelveli were the resource persons. Our student K. Sushmita from I B.A. English hosted the program and S. Pradeep of II B.A. English delivered the welcome address. Mr. S. Vijayaragavan, Assistant Professor, PG & Research Department of English (SF) honoured the chief guests. R. Sahaya Inba Sahitha and M. Marieswari of I B.A. English felicitated the resource persons. In the first session Mrs. M.Subbulakshmi talked about goal setting and illustrated it to the students with multiple activities. She also introduced and explored many unique sectors where the students can shine and prosper. In the second session Mrs. M. Keerthika gave many start-up ideas and also explained in detail about the business loans and subsidies offered by the government. The students interacted well with the resource persons and clarified all their doubts with them. The overall outcome of the program was fruitful. V. Swetha of I M.A. English delivered the vote of thanks followed by the National Anthem.
