Alumni Interactive Session – English Dept.

The PG Research Department of English (SF), Kamaraj College (Autonomous) successfully organized an Alumni interactive session on the Civil Service Examination on 24th February 2025. The session was conducted by Ms. Aadhi Lakshmi, a distinguished alumna of Kamaraj College and a successful civil service aspirant. Ms. Aadhi Lakshmi shared her valuable experiences and insights into the preparation strategies for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination. She highlighted the significance of consistent hard work, effective time management, and staying updated with current affairs. Additionally, she emphasized the importance of reading newspapers, following a structured study plan, and practicing answer-writing skills regularly. The session also covered the examination pattern, eligibility criteria, and the various stages of the UPSC exam, including the Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam, and the Personal Interview. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session where students actively participated and clarified their doubts. Overall, the session was highly informative and inspiring, leaving a positive impact on all participants.
