Preamble
The Department of English is energetic with a variety of methodological approaches. The Department of English was started in 1968 with the introduction of a Pre-university course and then the department offers Part II English to all the undergraduate students. In the year 2013 B.A. English was started under the self-financed stream. The department has 12 faculty members out of which 4 faculty members are in the aided stream and the remaining faculty members are in the self-supporting stream.
