Faculty Wellness Programme 2026: Powerful Steps for a Healthy Mind and Body


Faculty Wellness Programme on “Faculty Wellness: Healthy Mind and Healthy Body” was organised by the Health Care Club of Kamaraj College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi, on 30 September 2026 at the Seminar Hall, GN Block.

The programme aimed to create awareness among faculty members about the importance of physical and mental well-being, stress management, healthy lifestyle practices and work-life balance.

Dr. S. Sivasailam, Senior Consultant Psychiatrist, served as the Resource Person and delivered an informative and engaging session focusing on maintaining a healthy mind and body.

Faculty members and non-teaching staff actively participated in the programme and gained useful insights into stress management, emotional well-being, self-care and balanced living.
