BioStar 26 witnessed an outstanding performance by students of the PG & Research Department of Microbiology, Kamaraj College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi, at the State-Level Inter-Collegiate Competition held on 18 September 2026.

The competition was organised by the PG & Research Department of Zoology, Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi.

A total of 24 students from the Department of Microbiology participated in various academic, creative and skill-based events and secured prizes across several categories.

The students demonstrated scientific knowledge, creativity, communication skills, teamwork and presence of mind, bringing pride and recognition to the Department.

BioStar 26 State-Level Competition

BioStar 26 provided students with an opportunity to compete with participants from other institutions and demonstrate their academic and creative abilities.

The Microbiology students participated enthusiastically in events such as Poster Presentation, Oral Presentation, Quiz, Pencil Sketch, Wildlife Puzzle, Fauna Focus, Green Crafters and JAM (Just A Minute).
