Alumni Career Guidance was the focus of an interactive programme organized by the Research Department of Computer Science, Kamaraj College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi, on 13 August 2026. The session commenced at 1.15 p.m. at III B.Sc. Computer Science, GN Block.
Mr. Raja Kumar, an alumnus of the 2021–2024 batch and currently working at Almir Technical Services, Kuwait, interacted with the students. He shared his professional experiences, career journey and practical insights into the expectations of the industry.
Objectives of the Alumni Career Guidance Programme
The Alumni Career Guidance programme aimed to connect current students with an alumnus who could share practical knowledge gained from professional experience.

The programme commenced with the Welcome Address delivered by Mr. Antony Navis Jaferson, III B.Sc. Computer Science.
He warmly welcomed the resource person, faculty members and students. Moreover, the welcome address highlighted the value of alumni interaction in helping students understand career opportunities and workplace expectations.
Honouring the Alumnus
Following the welcome address, Prof. T. Ravi, Head of the Department of Computer Science, honoured Mr. Raja Kumar and welcomed him back to the department.
Mr. Raja Kumar completed his studies in the Department of Computer Science during the 2021–2024 batch. Currently, he works at Almir Technical Services, Kuwait.
His return to the department as a resource person demonstrated the continuing relationship between the institution and its alumni.
