Talentia 2026: 10 Inspiring Highlights from Student Creativity

Introduction

The Valedictory Ceremony of Talentia 2026, conducted as part of the Student Induction Programme, was held successfully on 24 June 2026 at 11.30 a.m. at the GJ Block Seminar Hall of Kamaraj College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi. The programme celebrated the creative talents, artistic abilities, communication skills, leadership qualities and enthusiastic participation of students in various competitions.

The event served as a vibrant platform for newly admitted students to showcase their talents and become familiar with the active campus culture of the institution. Objectives of the Programme

Welcome Address

The programme commenced with the Welcome Address delivered by A. Sakthi Shruthi, III BCA, Vice Chairman of the Student Council. She warmly welcomed the dignitaries, chief guest, faculty members, prize winners and students.

In her address, she highlighted the importance of student participation in cultural and creative activities. She also appreciated the enthusiasm shown by students in various competitions conducted as part of the event.

The welcome address created a positive beginning to the valedictory ceremony and reflected the active role of the Student Council in organizing student-centred programmes.

Honouring of the Chief Guest

The Chief Guest of the programme, Thiru. P.S.P.K.J. Somu @ Somasundaram, Secretary, Thoothukudi Education Society, was honoured by Dr. A. Arunachalarajan, Vice Principal.
