Introduction
The Freshers Orientation Programme for the Academic Year 2026–2027 was successfully organized by the Students’ Council of Kamaraj College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi on 15 June 2026 for first-year aided students and their parents. The programme was designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to the institution, its academic environment, student support systems, and opportunities available for holistic development.
The orientation programme served as an important platform for helping freshers and their parents understand the values, expectations, and academic culture of the college. It also enabled students to begin their higher education journey with confidence, clarity, and enthusiasm.

As a special gesture of encouragement, one boy and one girl student from each department who had secured the highest marks in the Higher Secondary Examination were honoured with book gifts.
