Field Visit: Tenkasi District – Zoology Dept.

Department of zoology organised a field visit for III UG Zoology students to Sericulture Department on 4.3.2024 at Nannagaram Tenkasi District. Dr.R.Nagarajan, Dr.S.Saraswathi and Dr.S.Nazerath Nisha accompanied the students. The Sericulture department technical staff explained about details of sericulture such as the types of silk, types of cocoons and the reeling process of silk and also he motivated our students to become entrepreneurs. This field trip was a really fruitful and highly informative one.
