Four Days Bridge Course

The Department of English conducted a Four Days Bridge Course from 10.8.2022 to 13.8.2022 for the freshers who joined our college for the academic year (2022-2023). The objective of this course is to bridge the gap between English language and Subject knowledge of the students. The course focuses on the cognition and development of speaking and writing skills of the students. It also gives equal importance to gain communication as well as textual knowledge about English language such as grammar, semantics and pronunciation. An entry level test was also conducted for the students on the first day to test their English language knowledge. The course was divided into two sessions for each day. All the students actively participated and voluntarily interacted with the staff members. They came up with positive responses and feedbacks.
