Kamaraj College has been developed and is fully established with six Academic blocks:
The buildings house fully equipped laboratories, Centers of Excellence, Smart Class rooms, Class rooms, Drawing halls, Conference halls, Central Library, Offices for Head of the department's, Staff rooms, Seminar Halls, Department Libraries and other facilities as per University and UGC mandates.

The College has multiple fiber-optic high speed broadband network for internet access. Connectivity through these leased lines cater to all computer labs, departments, central library and campus-wide wifi
Recent Infrastructure Developments:
A new Golden Jubilee building has been constructed and inaugurated during the current year (2017). This high tech building houses all SF courses and is provisioned with the latest laboratory equipment, teaching aids and security systems.
The central library has been strengthened with the addition of 16 large-monitor computers for online browsing and research. Further, about 1400 new books have been added during the current year (2017). The library is provided with high speed internet access through dedicated fiber-optic broadband leased line.
New Tally laboratory with 32 computers has been opened in 2017 for the benefit of commerce students.
A new 200-seat air-conditioned smart-class room with digital projector and sound system has been inaugurated in the year 2016.
Facilities for sports have been upgraded with new courts for Volley-ball and Kabbadi. The existing chess room has been upgraded.
The college canteen has been upgraded during the year 2016.
Fans and lights have been upgraded in all classrooms and generator supply has been provided to all buildings in the campus.
Research activities have been augmented by establishment of additional research centers in the departments of Computer Science, Chemistry and Commerce. Departments of Microbiology and English are in advanced stages of obtaining research status and the college is expected to host doctoral programs in eight of its departments.
